Augustan Monument Project

by Jeremy M. Walker

This VRoma project is an expansion of an earlier project that I did with my 4th year Latin students during the last six weeks of  the spring semester.  This project was designed as a culminating exercise to help my students tie together their knowledge of the Augustan age and all of its components, i.e. literature, architecture, social history, etc.  The project originally involved each student  constructing a HyperCard stack that revolved around an Augustan Monument.  The expansion of this project requires creating a Power Point presentation about an Augustan Monument in addition to a HyperCard stack.  This revised project will also include more emphasis upon research with both appropriate resources, both hard copy and electronic, more instruction on copyright policies, and more tips on designing presentations for various media.
