Neoteric Poet and close friend of Catullus.
Hated Caesar and Pompey. Wrote verses mocking Caesar's homosexual affair with King Nicomedes of Bithynia, and others suggesting that Pompey was homosexual too.
Made a speech against Caesar's ally, Vatinius (in 54 B.C.), but Cicero was defended him and Vatinius was acquitted.
Died before 50 B.C.
