Comments:	Shakespeare sets Romeo and Juliet in Verona, a city in northern Italy. An inspiration -- if not the inspiration -- for this play was certainly "Pyramus and Thisbe," a tale from Ovid's Metamorphoses about a pair of star-crossed lovers from Babylon.
